PayPerPost.com is my first test site. I've been reading about it, and according to most reviews, its the first real 'pay per post' blogging idea to hit the market. Its also gotten the highest number of positive reviews and ratings by other bloggers, so I decided to try it out.

Signup was generally easy and no fuss, I liked that they didn't ask for a large amount of personal information. According to the service terms and agreements, payment is such as follows:

'Advertiser agrees to pay PayPerPost all charges to Advertiser's account for the Service in accordance with these Terms of Service. If PayPerPost does not receive timely payment or if Advertiser exceeds prepayment hereunder: (i) Advertiser will incur a debit balance for the value of any unpaid charges incurred under your account, (ii) Advertiser agrees to pay all amounts due on your account upon demand, and (iii) PayPerPost reserves the right to either suspend or terminate an Advertiser's account with PayPerPost, including deletion of your Opportunities from the Services. Any fees for the Services which are charged to Advertiser account, as well as the initial deposit(s), are non-refundable. Advertiser agrees to submit any disputes regarding any charge to your account in writing to PayPerPost within thirty (30) days of such charge, otherwise such dispute will be waived and such charge will be final and not subject to challenge."

Sounds reasonable enough to me. Blog Eligibility is as follows:

3.3. BLOG ELIGIBILITY.

In order to participate in the PayPerPost Marketplace, Blogger must register your blog(s) with PayPerPost and meet the minimum eligibility requirements. PayPerPost will not accept certain blogs and Bloggers as determined by PayPerPost in its sole discretion.

1. Blogs Only. PayPerPost only accepts blogs, and not websites, message boards, e-mails, IM or other similar services.
2. English Only Blogs. The blog and all posts relating to PayPerPost Opportunities must be in the English language or such other language as is identified in the particular Opportunity.
3. Original Blog Content. The blog must contain original editorial content in addition to Opportunity-related or other paid posts. Blogs that exist primarily for payment will not be accepted.
4. Minimum Blog Age. Blogs must be live for a minimum of thirty (30) days, counted from the date of the blog's first post, with at least ten (10) pre-existing posts written in the 30 days prior to registration with the PayPerPost Marketplace.
5. Chronological Archives. Blogs must have a chronological archive to verify age. Categorical archives will not be accepted. You acknowledge and agree that PayPerPost may also verify compliance with these age and posting requirements via a third party spider.
6. Transfer of Blog. Transferring your blog to a new domain does not make the blog 'older than thirty (30) days.' Transferring a blog to a new owner does not make the blog 'older than thirty (30) days.'
7. Inappropriate Content. Blogs submitted to the marketplace may not include or support: excessive profanity, violence, or racial intolerance, illicit drugs or drug paraphernalia, pornography, adult or mature content, or any other content that promotes intolerance, illegal activity, or infringes on the legal rights of others.

So as of right now, I have to wait one more month and do 10 more posts before I am eligible to start blogging for PayPerPost. 30 - 90 days seems to be the minimum blog age for such services.

So now, the wait begins...
